Skylar Thompson In Line to Start Against Bills
2 years agoThe Miami Dolphins are preparing as if rookie quarterback Skylar Thompson will start on Sunday in the wild-card playoff game against the Buffalo Bills after they officially ruled out Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) on Wednesday. Teddy Bridgewater (finger, knee) is also banged up, so it's looking like Thompson will make his third career start in the first round of the postseason against a formidable defense on the road. In seven games (two starts), the 25-year-old from Kansas State has completed 57.1% of his 105 attempts for 534 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions while taking six sacks. Fantasy managers participating in playoff leagues need to downgrade all of Miami's offensive weapons with Thompson making the start, while Buffalo's defense/special teams will be a very popular play on Sunday.
