Rachaad White Plays First Drive On Sunday
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White only played during the first drive of Sunday's Week 18 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie back was pulled out early during this game because the team already clinched the 4th-seed in the playoffs. That being said, White saw four carries for 15 yards during the first drive before heading to the sideline for the rest of the game. Ke'Shawn Vaughn and Giovani Bernard saw a majority of the touches in this meaningless game. White finished his rookie campaign with 481 rushing yards, and one touchdown, while adding 50 receptions for 290 yards and two touchdowns through the air. It wasn't a great season for White, but he was splitting up the workload with Leonard Fournette. The duo should continue to work as a committee against the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild-Card round. Both players offer some upside because of their receiving abilities.
