Jung Hoo Lee Receives Permission To Be Posted
2 years agoThe Kiwoom Heroes of the Korea Baseball Organization have allowed outfielder Jung Hoo Lee to be posted, likely after the 2023 season when he's eligible. Lee is the league's reigning Most Valuable Player after hitting .349/.421/.575 with 23 home runs in 2022. The former Rookie of the Year in the KBO is only 24 years old and has played in six seasons in Korea. Along with his power at the plate, Lee has also stolen 63 bases in his six seasons and has won a Gold Glove in each of his last five seasons. Most Korean and Japanese hitters struggle with the increased velocity of pitchers in the States, but Lee will have plenty of appeal as an all-around outfield bat/glove in his attempt to play in the majors in the US.
