Ilya Mikheyev Racks Up Four Points Versus San Jose
2 years agoVancouver Canucks winger Ilya Mikheyev was in sensational form against San Jose on Tuesday, finishing a 6-2 victory with four points and a plus-five rating. He scored once with three shots on goal and had three assists in 15:31 of ice time. Bo Horvat put together his second consecutive four-point outing and Brock Boeser notched a goal and two assists, so Vancouver's top line had a field day in the matchup. Mikheyev's NHL career has started to pick up lately, with him going for three goals and six points across the last four games. He's on 12 goals and 22 points for the whole campaign with 31 games played. The 28-year-old should be set for a big second half of the season if he sticks with Horvat, who is one of the league's best goal-scorers and averages over a point per game.
