Tyler Allgeier A Risky Flex Option In Week 16
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier is coming off the best performance of his career in Week 15. The rookie running back had 17 rushing attempts for 139 yards and 22.1 half-point PPR fantasy points against the New Orleans Saints, all career-highs. Furthermore, the former BYU star has taken on more of a role in the Atlanta backfield. Over the past two games, Allgeier has played more snaps than the veteran Cordarrelle Patterson (64-62). Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens have surrendered only 17 fantasy points per game this season to running back, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. They have also held running backs to under 70 rushing yards in six of their past seven contests. While he is coming off his best performance of the year, fantasy players should avoid starting Allgeier this week.
