2 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder will make his second career start Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens. The rookie quarterback had an underwhelming performance against the New Orleans Saints last week, throwing for only 97 yards on 26 pass attempts. The former Cincinnati Bearcat completed only 50% of his pass attempts last week. However, Ridder didn't have a turnover despite facing a talented defense. Meanwhile, the Ravens have shut down quarterbacks lately. Over their past six contests, they have held quarterbacks to only 12.4 fantasy points per game, giving up 12.9 or fewer points to the position in all but one matchup. Fantasy players should avoid starting Ridder this week, as the rookie is a bottom-five starting option.--Mike Fanelli
