Many fantasy managers are entering their league playoffs, which makes staying on top of injuries especially important. As we head into Week 15 of the NFL season, it's been a week with significant injury news. These are the latest notable injury updates as of Thursday, December 15th.
Fantasy football stalwarts such as Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, Amari Cooper, and many more have been dealing with injuries ahead of Week 15. We have plenty of must-starts on this week's injury list, so fantasy managers should be ready to pivot should things go south.

Brock Purdy Injury Update
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (oblique) is active for the Week 15 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. This is good news as the 22-year-old was questionable heading into this contest.
It's unlikely that Purdy is 100 percent healthy, but he's going to make the start on Thursday. In his last two games, Purdy has thrown for nearly 400 yards with four touchdowns and only one interception. He'll be a mid-range QB2 for this Thursday Night matchup with the Seahawks.
Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) didn't practice all week and has officially been ruled out for Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. It will be Jackson's second straight absence due to a knee sprain suffered in Week 13.
It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old dual-threat signal-caller will be able to return for a Week 16 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday. Tyler Huntley suffered a concussion in the Week 14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he's since cleared the league's protocols and will make his second straight start on Saturday against the Browns.
Kyler Murray Injury Update
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) is scheduled to have surgery to fix the torn ACL in his left knee sometime after Christmas, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The Cardinals put Murray on season-ending Injured Reserve this week.
Kingsbury said he "wouldn't put anything past" Murray as far as being ready for the 2023 season. The 25-year-old signal-caller had a bit of a disappointing season in 2022, throwing for 2,368 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions while adding 418 rushing yards and three more TDs on 67 carries.
With him potentially not being ready for the start of next season, Murray's fantasy stock as a QB1 for fantasy managers next year is on thin ice. Veteran Colt McCoy will lead Arizona's offense in the final four games.
Dallas Goedert Injury Update
While the Philadelphia Eagles haven't definitively said that tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) will play in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears after they designated him to return to practice this week, he's trending towards playing on Sunday.
As long as the fracture in the glenoid bone of his shoulder is healed, he'll be able to play this weekend. The Eagles offense still thrived without Goedert for four games, but they'll be even more explosive when they get him back. Despite missing four full games, the 27-year-old is sixth in the league in receiving among tight ends with 544 yards in nine games.
David Montgomery Injury Update
Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery (illness) was unavailable for Thursday's practice. It sounds like the 25-year-old was dealing with a non-COVID-related illness.
He missed practice here, but the expectation is that he'll suit up for the Week 15 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bears are going to need to run the ball to have success in this game, so hopefully, Montgomery is good to go. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Friday for another update on Montgomery.
Damien Harris Injury Update
New England Patriots running back Damien Harris (thigh) was limited during Thursday's practice session. This marks back-to-back days that Harris has been limited during practice. He should be considered on the optimistic side of questionable for the Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
It seems unlikely that fellow back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is going to play this week. That being said, Harris would be a low-end RB2 if he's able to get on the field. Otherwise, Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris would split up the carries in the backfield. Between the two, Strong is the much better streaming option, but fantasy managers should check back on Friday for another update on Harris.
Mike White Injury Update
New York Jets quarterback Mike White (ribs) said there's no doubt in his mind that he will play in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions. White left last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills multiple times after taking shots to his ribs and was even evaluated at the hospital after the game.
But he has come out of it fine and has been practicing this week, setting him up to make his third straight start in Week 15 in a positive matchup against the Lions shaky defense. White has gone over 300 yards passing in two of his three starts with three touchdowns and two interceptions, so there is certainly some upside here as a QB2 in superflex leagues.
Amari Cooper Injury Update
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Amari Cooper (hip) will give it a go and play against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday in Week 15. Cooper has been battling through a hip injury, but he looked good on the practice field on Friday.
The 28-year-old missed two practices this week but returned on Thursday, so he will be active this weekend. He caught just two of his seven targets for 42 yards while playing 86 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cooper isn't 100 percent healthy and is still developing chemistry with quarterback Deshaun Watson heading into Watson's third game of the season, making Cooper a potential bust as a WR2 in Week 15.
