As we head into Week 14 of the NFL season, it's been a week with significant injury news. Fantasy managers must monitor these situations closely. These are the latest notable injury updates as of Sunday morning, December 11th.
Fantasy football stalwarts such as Saquon Barkley, Kenneth Walker III, Lamar Jackson, and many more have been dealing with injuries ahead of Week 14. We have plenty of must-starts on this week's injury list, so fantasy managers should be ready to pivot should things go south.

Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) is not expected to play against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, according to ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler. Walker had been listed as questionable, and while the Seahawks won't make an official decision on the rookie's status until 11:30 a.m. EST on Sunday, it looks like he'll be inactive barring a drastic development.
The same goes for DeeJay Dallas (ankle), meaning Travis Homer projects as the Seahawks' lead back this week. He ranks as a high-end RB3 with upside in what should be a favorable matchup.
DeeJay Dallas Injury Update
Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas (ankle) is considered a longshot to play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
The running back injured himself while rushing 10 times for 37 yards in Week 13. Heading into the clash with Carolina, Dallas and backfield-mate Kenneth Walker III (ankle) are both questionable, though Seattle has more optimism about the latter at this point. We can expect confirmation on their statuses just prior to 2 p.m. EST on Sunday.
Saquon Barkley Injury Update
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (neck) is "legitimately 50-50" to play in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Barkley did do drills in practice on Saturday, was first in line for running back drills and looked to be moving around OK.
Most people expect him to play on Sunday, but he truly is a game-time decision this weekend. The good news is fantasy managers will know if the 25-year-old is active early on Sunday morning. If Barkley is playing, he'll be at risk of being spelled more often by Matt Breida, but he's absolutely a must-start in starting fantasy lineups.
Amari Cooper Injury Update
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (hip) is listed as questionable for Week 14 versus the Cincinnati Bengals, but as ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports, he "still has a good chance to play" and the Browns "are expecting him on the field."
If confirmed, the veteran wideout would rank as a WR2 while Donovan Peoples-Jones falls into the WR3 tier. Look for official confirmation on Cooper's status around 11:30 a.m. EST on Sunday.
Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) may not play again until Week 16, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The former MVP is listed as doubtful for this Sunday's game against the Steelers after spanning his PCL in Week 13, and there is already pessimism about his availability for next week's clash with the Browns.
Thus, Schefter indicates that the Ravens are targeting Week 16 (versus Atlanta Falcons on Dec. 24) as a realistic return for Jackson. Even if he does return on Christmas Eve, Jackson may not be at full strength for several weeks thereafter. In the meantime, Tyler Huntley will operate as the Ravens' quarterback, ranking as a high-end QB2 in fantasy football.
Michael Carter Injury Update
New York Jets running back Michael Carter (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play on Sunday versus AFC East rival Buffalo.
Despite Carter's availability, rookie Zonovan Knight, who's had over 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first two professional games, is anticipated to remain the No. 1 option out of the backfield and handle most of the work.
David Njoku Injury Update
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) was removed from his team's final injury report on Friday ahead of a Week 14 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Njoku missed Week 13 with the injury but will suit up for his first game with Deshaun Watson as his quarterback in Week 14. On Friday, head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters, "Dave's (Njoku) looked like himself. He looks good." The Bengals are allowing the 14th-fewest fantasy points per game to the tight end position in 2022.
Courtland Sutton Injury Update
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Nathaniel Hackett.
Sutton picked up a hamstring injury early in last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens and was unlikely to play against KC. Fantasy managers can officially lock him onto their benches for the weekend.
