Monte Morris WIll Miss Saturday's Game
2 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Monte Morris (groin) has been ruled out of Saturday's matchup against the Clippers. He is dealing with left groin soreness, and unfortunately for him, the game comes too soon for Morris to be ready to play. The 27-year-old has recently enjoyed a good run of form, with Bradley Beal's (hamstring) absence giving Morris more responsibility offensively, but he now has to step aside as well. Morris' absence opens the door for Jordan Goodwin to join the starting unit Saturday. It's already confirmed that he will make his second start of the campaign, and with Washington short of options on the backcourt, Goodwin should be in for a busy night.
