Tyus Jones Shines Versus Miami
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Tyus Jones notched a career-high 28 points and had 10 assists in Monday's 101-93 victory over the Heat. He made his fourth start of the campaign, with Ja Morant (ankle) sitting out, and Jones relished the occasion right off the bat, recording nine points and three assists in the first quarter alone. He finished the night with 10-for-16 shooting, which included a 3-for-6 record from three-point land, and Jones also added two steals to his line with one turnover in 36 minutes. The 26-year-old is now averaging 20.3 points and 7.8 assists as a starter this season. These numbers make picking up Jones a must for fantasy managers each time Morant sits.
