Saddiq Bey Shows Signs Of Life Sunday
2 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Saddiq Bey was able to play a prominent role in Sunday's 112-122 defeat to Memphis, leading the team with 24 points in 33 minutes off the bench. He also tallied six rebounds and a season-high seven assists, while shooting 7-for-16 from the field and 9-for-12 at the foul line with a 1-for-6 record from deep. Bey hadn't hit 20 points in a game since Nov. 7. In fact, even getting some decent playing time has been an issue for him lately, as he had failed to hit the 20-minute mark in back-to-back games prior to Sunday. The 23-year-old hasn't done as well as fantasy managers would've liked, but the Pistons are a rebuilding team and Bey's best stretch of the season should be yet to come.
