Deebo Samuel Injury Update
Deebo Samuel was put on the injury report due to a quad issue Thursday and was held out of practice. The 26-year-old did participate in a limited fashion on Friday and enters the weekend listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
#49ers WR Deebo Samuel (quad) and LT Trent Williams (back) are questionable for Sunday vs. Dolphins.
— Eric Branch (@Eric_Branch) December 2, 2022
Head coach Kyle Shanahan admitted to the press that Samuel did not do much on Friday, and they were expecting him to be a full participant rather than limited. It leaves Samuel on the wrong side of questionable, and fantasy managers must prepare to be without him. Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle should see a target boost if Samuel is inactive.
Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update
Ja'Marr Chase has been out of action since Week 8 due to a hip injury. The 22-year-old was questionable last week, but the team decided to rest him in hopes he will play in Week 13. After a week of limited practice participation, Chase was officially labeled as questionable for Sunday's game against Kansas City.
Zac: Chase on track to play. Mixon still in protocol.
— Jay Morrison (@JayMorrisonATH) December 2, 2022
Head coach Zac Taylor said he is "optimistic" about Chase playing Sunday, and after a full week of limited work, he has a good chance to do so. There is a chance the Bengals limit his reps, so keep that in mind, but Chase should be started in all leagues if active.
Mike Williams Injury Update
Mike Williams has been out of action since re-aggravating his ankle injury in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old has not returned to the practice field since and was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday.
WR Mike Williams (ankle), C Corey Linsley (concussion) and OT Trey Pipkins (knee) are OUT for Sunday vs. Raiders.
— Daniel Popper (@danielrpopper) December 2, 2022
Fantasy managers will need to continue to plan around Williams, as he does not seem close to a return. Joshua Palmer will continue to see an increase in targets as long as Williams is out and is a great FLEX option this week against the Raiders.
Courtland Sutton Injury Update
Courtland Sutton is dealing with a stomach bug, explaining his surprise questionable tag heading into Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens after practicing this past week.
Broncos WRs Jerry Jeudy (ankle), Courtland Sutton (illness) are questionable for Sunday vs. Ravenshttps://t.co/UG1b8FRvZa pic.twitter.com/L7mNJCuPEw
— Around The NFL (@AroundTheNFL) December 2, 2022
There seems to be an illness going around the entire league at the moment, but there is no reason to believe Sutton will not suit up on Sunday unless reported otherwise this weekend. The No. 1 target for Russell Wilson is a solid WR2 this week against Baltimore.
Zay Jones Injury Update
Zay Jones has been a limited participant in practice this week due to a chest injury. The 27-year-old does not seem to be in danger of missing Sunday's game against Detroit but was officially labeled as questionable on Friday.
Zay Jones, Travis Etienne, Darrell Henderson questionable for Jaguars. https://t.co/T1IcnL6UWE
— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) December 2, 2022
Jones is coming off his best fantasy performance of the season, hauling in 11 receptions for 145 yards, and has a plus matchup against Detroit this weekend. If active, Jones should be considered a high-end FLEX option.
Brandin Cooks Injury Update
Brandin Cooks has been on the injury report for weeks with a wrist injury but was listed with a calf injury this past Thursday. The 29-year-old was able to remain limited in practice but was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns on Friday.
Texans QB Kyle Allen will be without leading receiver Brandin Cooks (calf injury) in his second start.https://t.co/jApMS0ZmOj
— Brooks Kubena (@BKubena) December 2, 2022
Cooks has no interest in playing for Houston anymore, so picking up a new injury late in the week and having no time to rest has lent to him taking the week off. Nico Collins will operate as the No. 1 target for Houston and now has FLEX appeal due simply to his potential workload.
Darius Slayton Injury Update
Darius Slayton is dealing with an illness that limited him in practice this week. The 25-year-old missed practice entirely on Thursday and Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders.
Darius Slayton isn’t going to practice. Still ill. He’s virtually irreplaceable on this roster without major adjustments. Daboll still hopeful he can play Sunday. #Giants
— Ryan Dunleavy (@rydunleavy) December 2, 2022
Slayton has his locker set up next to tight end Daniel Bellinger, who was dealing with an illness. The Giants desperately need Slayton, as their wide receiver depth is shallow, but he is a true 50/50 shot to play this week. Richie James (knee) would see the biggest target increase in his absence, but he is also questionable. Slayton is a solid FLEX option if active.
Kadarius Toney Injury Update
Kadarius Toney re-aggravated his hamstring injury in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 23-year-old has been labeled "day-to-day" but has yet to return to practice. He was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals on Friday.
The #Chiefs say that WR Kadarius Toney was the only player not to practice on Friday.
S Juan Thornhill and LG Joe Thuney will play against the #Bengals.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) December 2, 2022
JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are healthy and will operate as the top two receivers for Kansas City this week. Skyy Moore should see the largest boost in targets with Toney out again in Week 13 and has FLEX appeal in a potential shootout with Cincinnati.
Romeo Doubs Injury Update
Romeo Doubs has been out of action since Week 10 due to an ankle injury he suffered the week prior. The rookie returned to the practice field for the first time this week since suffering the injury and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Chicago.
Aaron Rodgers is off the injury report and will start Sunday in Chicago.
David Bakhtiari (appendectomy) is out.
Darnell Savage is doubtful. De'Vondre Campbell and Romeo Doubs are questionable.
— Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) December 2, 2022
Fellow rookie Christian Watson has emerged as a top target for Green Bay in Doubs' absence. There is also a chance the 22-year-old is limited in his return, but his inclusion in the offense brings down the potential target share for teammates Allen Lazard and Robert Tonyan. Doubs may be too tough to trust this week, but he could have FLEX appeal moving forward if he can take over as the No. 2 option.
Jerry Jeudy Injury Update
Jerry Jeudy has been out since Week 10 when he suffered an ankle injury against the Tennessee Titans. After missing the first two practices of the week, the 23-year-old returned in a limited fashion Friday and has a chance to play this weekend. He is officially listed as questionable.
Jerry Jeudy is stretching with the team. Looks like he’ll be limited for first time in 3 weeks. #9sports
— Mike Klis (@mikeklis) December 2, 2022
Getting Jeudy back would be a big boost for a Broncos offense that has struggled mightily. The matchup against Baltimore is solid for fantasy wide receivers, but there is a chance Jeudy could be on a limited snap count in his return. Consider the third-year receiver a low-end FLEX option if he is able to suit up.
Michael Gallup Injury Update
Michael Gallup has been held out of practice this week due to an illness. There is optimism surrounding his play status for this week's game against the Colts, but the team officially listed him as questionable for Sunday on Friday.
While Mike McCarthy wasn't sure if Trevon Diggs or Michael Gallup, who are battling an illness, would be at The Star Friday, he is confident both will be available Sunday against the Colts. Same with Terence Steele, who missed Thursday for personal reasons.
— Todd Archer (@toddarcher) December 2, 2022
Head coach Mike McCarthy said he is "confident" Gallup will suit up for Sunday's game during his Friday press conference. With Colts starting cornerback Kenny Moore (shin) out again this week, the Dallas wide receivers could be in for good production. Gallup is in FLEX consideration this week if active.
Richie James Injury Update
Richie James missed Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury but has put in two limited sessions since then. The 27-year-old was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Washington on Friday.

— Paul Schwartz (@NYPost_Schwartz) December 2, 2022
The Giants' wide receiver corps is one of the most banged up in the league right now. No. 1 wide receiver Darius Slayton (illness) has a 50/50 shot at playing, meaning James should see a solid target share if healthy come Sunday. He is a WR4/5 this week with FLEX appeal, especially if Slayton misses the game against the Commanders.
KJ Hamler Injury Update
KJ Hamler has missed the past four weeks due to a hamstring injury. It was reported Thursday that the 23-year-old suffered a setback and is out indefinitely. He was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against Baltimore on Friday.
Hackett said KJ Hamler had setback in recovery from hamstring injury. #9sports
— Mike Klis (@mikeklis) December 1, 2022
Hamler can safely be dumped to the waiver wire in redraft leagues if anyone is holding onto him. Kendall Hinton will continue to operate as the No. 3 wide receiver for the remainder of the season.
