Tyler Allgeier A Borderline Flex Option
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier is coming off a disappointing performance in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers. The rookie running back had eight rushing attempts for 20 yards last week, adding three receptions for negative 17 yards. Last week he scored a career-low 1.8 half-point PPR fantasy points. Despite the poor fantasy performance, the former BYU star did lead the backfield with 11 touches. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have surrendered 24.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game to running backs this season, the fourth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, Chicago has given up 28.3 fantasy points and two rushing touchdowns per game to running backs over the past three weeks. Fantasy players should consider Allgeier a boom-or-bust flex option this week, thanks to the matchup.
