2 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward (shoulder) will remain unavailable for Wednesday's matchup against the Trail Blazers. He hurt his left shoulder a week ago against Chicago, leaving Charlotte without another key player. Hayward's injury allowed Jalen McDaniels to make his first start of the season last week, but it was a four-point dud from him and head coach Steve Clifford quickly relegated him back to the bench. He's a very inconsistent performer and it's hard to trust him to get the job done. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) also remaining on the shelf, Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre Jr. will continue to lead the Hornets attack.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
