Ravens Plan To Have Gus Edwards Back After The Bye
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the team plans to have running back Gus Edwards (hamstring) back after the Week 10 bye. Edwards made his season debut in Week 7 but sustained a right hamstring injury in Week 8 and was held out of the Monday night game against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. With Edwards sidelined on Monday, Kenyan Drake blew up for 93 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries as the lead back. J.K. Dobbins (knee) remains on Injured Reserve, but Edwards' impending return after the bye will once again complicate the Ravens' backfield. Drake will still probably be the most attractive fantasy back in Baltimore in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers, but Edwards' presence will lower his overall ceiling and floor.
