Luke Kennard Leaves Game With Chest Discomfort
2 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard/forward Luke Kennard couldn't complete Friday's game against San Antonio for a very worrying reason as he felt discomfort in his chest, but luckily it appears that he is fine. Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue announced after the game that Kennard was actually available to return, but the team decided to play it safe. The 26-year-old sniper logged nine minutes and finished with two points. Norman Powell got the start in the second half and notched 13 points with seven rebounds. Kennard doesn't have a lot of fantasy appeal, but he plays a very important role for the Clippers as a knockdown shooter, and he has been very good in his field of expertise this season, shooting a career-high 46.7 percent from downtown.
