D'Andre Swift May Not Be 100 Percent Again This Year
2 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) has missed 25 percent of the team's games -- 10 of a possible 40 -- since entering the league in 2020. He rushed for 144 yards in the season opener but also sprained his ankle, and he's rushed for just 93 yards since while missing three games. Swift told reporters this week that he can't promise he'll be 100 percent healthy the rest of the year. The dynamic runner returned last week but saw just 10 touches, and head coach Dan Campbell thought even that might've been too much. The fact that he's not fully healthy yet after a month off is concerning for the Lions and fantasy managers. If Swift is active in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers, he seems destined to surrender the majority of the backfield touches to Jamaal Williams yet again.
