Chase Claypool Expected To Have A Role Sunday
2 years agoChicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy anticipates new wide receiver Chase Claypool playing a role in his debut with the team in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. "The level of what that looks like, we're not quite sure," Getsy said. Claypool goes from one bad offense in the Pittsburgh Steelers to another in the Bears, but he could have more opportunities to make plays in Chicago. With that said, fantasy managers can't realistically expect the 24-year-old to come in right away and be awesome in an offense that is averaging 19.4 points per game through eight weeks. In eight games with the Steelers, Claypool had 32 catches on 50 targets for 311 yards and one touchdown. Err on the side of caution and keep Claypool on your benches this weekend.
