2 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) wasn't seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday and also didn't practice on Wednesday. After tweaking his sprained ankle in the Week 8 loss to the Washington Commanders, Taylor is now in danger of missing his third game this year in Week 9 against the New England Patriots. The Colts traded away pass-catching back Nyheim Hines for power back Zack Moss this week, but if Taylor is out or limited this Sunday, it will likely be Deon Jackson seeing most of the backfield work for the Colts. Phillip Lindsay could be called up from the practice squad as well. Taylor is looking highly questionable for this week, and Jackson would be a plug-and-play flex option if Taylor is inactive.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
