D'Andre Swift, Brock Wright Miss Practice Wednesday
2 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) and tight end Brock Wright (concussion) both missed practice on Wednesday. Swift returned in Week 8 for the first time since Week 3, but he admitted that he's not 100 percent healthy after carrying the ball five times for six yards and catching five passes for 27 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. It's not a lock that he'll be active this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, and if he is, he could once again yield valuable touches to backfield mate Jamaal Williams. With T.J. Hockenson now in Minnesota, Wright lines up as Detroit's No. 1 tight end, but he'll have to clear the concussion protocol in order to play this weekend. If he can't, rookie James Mitchell will be thrust into a starting role.
