Ezekiel Elliott, Noah Brown Inactive Against Bears
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) and wide receiver Noah Brown (foot) are both officially inactive for the Week 8 game against the Chicago Bears. Elliott missed practice all week and is dealing with a Grade 2 MCL sprain that he suffered in the Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions. The Cowboys are going to give Zeke and Brown a little extra rest with their bye coming in Week 9. In addition to Elliott and Brown, free safety Malik Hooker (hamstring) is also out for Dallas. The 27-year-old Elliott will miss his first game since the 2020 season, and with him out, Tony Pollard will be a must-start for fantasy managers as the team's lead back against Chicago. Brown will miss his first game of the season, and in his absence, Michael Gallup and Jalen Tolbert should see more targets behind CeeDee Lamb.
