Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (hip) is dealing with a hip injury that is expected to keep him out for four to six weeks. It makes him a prime candidate for Injured Reserve, according to sources. Chase visited with a hip specialist on Wednesday and is seeking more answers about his injury.
It's a tough break for the Bengals and fantasy managers alike, especially since Cincy's offense seemed to have hit their stride in recent weeks. Chase needs to be stashed in all fantasy formats, and receivers Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd and tight end Hayden Hurst will all have higher fantasy ceilings with Chase unable to play. Mike Thomas will also step into a bigger role on offense as the No. 3 wideout.
D'Andre Swift Injury Update
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) had his second straight day of full practice on Thursday. Swift has been sidelined since Week 3, but two straight days of practice so far this week bode well for his chances of returning to action in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins.
It remains to be seen how many offensive snaps the 23-year-old will be on the field for after a long layoff, but Swift should at least share the backfield touches with Jamaal Williams like he was doing in the three games to start the year before his injuries. Swift is averaging a healthy 8.6 yards per carry on 27 carries in 2022, but he'll be a low-end RB2 in danger of losing valuable touches to Williams if he returns against Miami.

Ezekiel Elliott Injury Update
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday due to his right knee injury, which is being described as an MCL sprain. Elliott is rehabbing off to the side and is unlikely to play in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.
With the team's bye coming next week, it makes all the sense in the world for Dallas to hold Zeke out so that he has two weeks to rest up. The 27-year-old is also dealing with a thigh bruise. The Cowboys have yet to officially rule Elliott out, but all signs are pointing towards him being inactive this Sunday. Fantasy managers that have Tony Pollard rostered should be ready to fire him up as a must-start this weekend in a lead-back role.
Chuba Hubbard Injury Update
Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (ankle) missed practice for the second day in a row on Thursday. He's dealing with a minor sprained ankle that he suffered in the Week 7 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second half. After the game, the Panthers coaching staff said that Hubbard probably could have gone back into the game, insinuating that the injury wasn't very serious.
But two missed practices later and he's looking like a real question mark for Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons unless he returns to practice on Friday. If the 23-year-old is out or limited in any way on Sunday, D'Onta Foreman would have a higher fantasy ceiling as the team's lead back now that Christian McCaffrey is in San Francisco.
Mark Andrews & Rashod Bateman Injury Update
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (knee) and wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) are both hopeful that they will be able to play on Thursday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to sources. Both players are listed as questionable, and Andrews didn't practice at all on the short week.
Fantasy managers will want to check back later on Thursday for the official inactives. Andrews is a must-start elite TE1 when he's active, but he also played through his injury last week and finished with zero catches. While it's unlikely, if neither Andrews nor Bateman are cleared to play, rookie tight end Isaiah Likely and receiver Devin Duvernay would be the two biggest beneficiaries in Baltimore's passing attack against a beat up Bucs secondary.
Russell Wilson Injury Update
Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson (hamstring), who was listed as being a limited participant in practice on Thursday for the second straight day, said he intends to play in Week 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning. Wilson was held out of the Week 7 loss to the New York Jets due to a partially torn hamstring, but he's apparently made great progress and his chomping at the bit to return under center for Denver's struggling offense.
The 33-year-old veteran is still being viewed as day-to-day, but all signs right now are pointing to him starting against Jacksonville. The Jaguars defense has allowed 20.6 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs in the last three weeks, so it could be the perfect time for the Broncos offense to get out of its funk. Wilson will be a borderline QB1/2 if he returns in Week 8.
Allen Lazard Injury Update
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) does not expect to play on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills. "Probably not," Lazard said. He heard a "snap, crackle, pop" in his shoulder in the third quarter of the Week 7 loss to the Washington Commanders, but he isn't worried about being sidelined long-term.
Lazard hasn't been able to practice since suffering the injury on Sunday, and there's a real possibility that he'll miss Week 9 against the Detroit Lions as well. With Randall Cobb (ankle) on Injured Reserve and rookie Christian Watson (hamstring) questionable to play this weekend, the Packers may have to get by with Sammy Watkins, rookies Romeo Doubs and Samori Toure and Amari Rodgers as their four receivers against Buffalo.
