Kyle Philips Placed On Injured Reserve
2 years agoThe Tennessee Titans placed rookie wide receiver Kyle Philips (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday after he suffered the injury in practice last Friday. To make room for him on the active roster, the Titans signed receiver Chris Conley off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad. Philips will now have to miss at least the next four games. In his first four NFL games, the fifth-rounder caught eight of 13 targets for 78 yards and no touchdowns. He should only be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues. Conley will give an already thin Titans receiving corps a little added depth behind Robert Woods, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Cody Hollister.
