Julio Jones, Cameron Brate Ruled Out Against Panthers
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones (knee) and tight end Cameron Brate (neck) have been ruled out for Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. Jones hasn't played since Week 4 and isn't expected back anytime soon with the team hoping to have him healthy for later in the year. Brate suffered a scary neck injury in the Week 6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and will miss at least one game. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Russell Gage will operate as the top three receivers for the Bucs with Jones still out. Rookie fourth-round tight end Cade Otton should be the team's top pass-catching tight end, giving him intriguing fantasy upside as a TE2 streamer this weekend against a bad Panthers team.
