Dak Prescott Ready For Week 7 Return
2 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) has "looked the part" in practice this week and is all systems go for Week 7 against the Detroit Lions after fracturing his right thumb in the season opener. Prescott has practiced in full all week and shouldn't have any issues with his grip on the football in his return to the starting role for the Cowboys. Backup Cooper Rush was great in Prescott's absence and led the team to a 4-1 record, but Prescott gives this offense much more upside in all facets of the game. Against a porous Lions defense this Sunday, Prescott should immediately be returned to all starting lineups as a midrange QB1 with upside in his first game back.
