Bryson Stott, Brandon Marsh To Return To Lineup Friday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson said the team will go back to rookie shortstop Bryson Stott and outfielder Brandon Marsh in the starting lineup on Friday in Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres and right-hander Joe Musgrove. Outfielder Matt Vierling and infielder Edmundo Sosa got the starts in Game 2 with lefty Blake Snell on the mound, but they'll head back to the bench for Game 3 on Friday in Philadelphia. In the Game 1 win, Stott hit seventh in the batting order, while Marsh rounded out the lineup in the nine-hole in the 2-0 shutout win. Stott and Marsh went a combined 0-for-6 in Game 1.
