2 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore has requested a trade from the organization. The 22-year-old missed Thursday's practice due to personal reasons. It sounds like Moore is unhappy with his usage in the current team's offense. To be fair, Moore has 16 catches for 203 yards and no touchdowns over the first six weeks. His only target last week was erased because of a penalty. Despite his low usage, the Jets have no desire to move on from Moore. The team selected Moore in the second round of the 2021 draft. A rebuilding roster like the Jets does not need to be trading away young talent like Moore. It's unclear if Moore is going to sit out until he's traded or not.
