Russell Wilson Dealing With Hamstring Injury
2 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said that quarterback Russell Wilson (hamstring) is dealing with a hamstring injury after the Monday night loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. After yet another hugely disappointing performance from Wilson and the Broncos offense, now he's dealing with another injury. The 33-year-old started off strong in the 19-16 overtime loss but finished just 15-for-28 for 188 yards and one touchdown. He's also dealing with a shoulder injury he's played through the last two games, but it didn't bother him on Monday night. We'll have to keep an eye on his hamstring injury during practice on a short week. Until Wilson and the rest of the offense find a way to be more consistent, he's off the QB1 radar heading into a Week 7 matchup against the New York Jets.
