Vernon Carey Jr. Enters Concussion Protocol
2 years agoWashington Wizards center Vernon Carey Jr. entered the NBA's concussion protocol on Thursday morning. The team said that the symptoms stem from a minor traffic accident. As of right now, it doesn't sound like anything too serious. Carey was traded to the Wizards last season in the deal that sent Montrezl Harrell to the Hornets. He's only played three games with the team since then, in which he put up 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game on 57.1% shooting from the floor. While there's been plenty of talk of the 21-year-old's potential since he was drafted, he doesn't carry much importance when it comes to fantasy. Until he starts getting real minutes, fantasy managers don't need to keep tabs on the big man.
