Carson Wentz Will Be Active Thursday Night
2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz (shoulder) will be active for the Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears this week, according to the team. Wentz was taken off the final injury report for Week 6 on Wednesday and will make the start on Thursday. He'll once again be without rookie receiver Jahan Dotson (hamstring) and tight end Logan Thomas (calf), though, which puts a damper on his QB2 status. However, he was still able to throw for a season-high 359 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Week 5 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Bears are also a pretty favorable matchup for quarterbacks, so the 29-year-old should be viewed as a solid QB2 option this week.
