Cameron Brate Trending In The Wrong Direction
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate (concussion) wasn't seen at practice in the portion open to the media for the second straight day on Thursday. He's expected to be listed as a non-participant after suffering a concussion in the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The 31-year-old is trending in the wrong direction for the team's Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons. If he's unable to gain clearance from the league, rookie Cade Otton will have a much bigger pass-catching role as the No. 1 tight end for Tampa. The fourth-rounder played a season-high 67 percent of the offensive snaps last Sunday night and caught three of his four targets for 29 yards. Otton would become an upside TE2 streamer in deeper leagues if Brate is inactive.
