Curtis Samuel Misses Practice With Illness
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel (illness) missed practice on Wednesday with a non-COVID-19-related illness. As long as Samuel is able to return to practice in the next two days, he should have a good shot at playing in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. After a rough injury plagued year in his first season in D.C. in 2021 in which he played in just five total games, Samuel has bounced back so far in 2022, catching 26 of 37 targets for 219 yards and two touchdowns through four weeks. If he's active this Sunday, he'll be in play as a solid WR3 option in PPR leagues. The 26-year-old will have even more fantasy upside with Jahan Dotson (hamstring) likely to miss some time due to injury.
