2 years agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich said that the team hopes running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) can play in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football after he suffered a sprained right ankle in the Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Colts initially feared that Taylor suffered a high-ankle sprain, which almost certainly would have sidelined him this week and beyond, but his injury isn't as serious as initially believed and there's still a chance he could play on Thursday despite being listed as a DNP on Monday's estimated practice report. Taylor had over 100 yards rushing and a TD in Week 1, but he's been a disappointment since. He could be in danger of seeing limited snaps if he's active on Thursday against Denver. If he's out or limited, Nyheim Hines, Deon Jackson and Phillip Lindsay could form a committee backfield.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
