Michael Gallup Likely To Be Eased In
2 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy indicated that the team will likely ease wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) into action if he makes his season debut in Week 3 against the New York Giants on Monday night. "I don't see Michael (Gallup) playing 70 plays in the game. It is his first game back," McCarthy said. Gallup has recovered from his torn ACL in early January, but he has a good chance to play on Monday. The 26-year-old is expected to eventually serve as Dallas' No. 2 receiver behind CeeDee Lamb, but Noah Brown will also have something to say about that. Through the first two weeks, Brown has caught 10 of his 14 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown, making him worth a waiver-wire pickup in a lot of leagues.
