Julio Rodriguez Remains Out Monday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners rookie outfielder Julio Rodriguez (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Monday against the Los Angeles Angels. According to MLB.com's Corey Brock, Rodriguez took 30 to 35 swings off a tee on Sunday and is "feeling better," according to manager Scott Servais. There is no timetable for Rodriguez's return, but an injured list stint is unlikely. The 21-year-old All-Star remains day-to-day for now, but hopefully he'll return soon for fantasy managers. Monday will be Rodriguez's third straight missed game. Dylan Moore will get the start in center field and will hit fifth against Angels left-hander Jose Suarez, while shortstop J.P. Crawford will serve as the team's leadoff hitter for the third straight game.
