Anthony Rizzo Has Three Hits In Return To Lineup
2 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back, head) was activated from the injured list on Sunday and returned with a bang in the 12-8 win over the Milwaukee Brewers, going 3-for-6 with a solo home run and two runs scored. The 33-year-old veteran left-handed slugger had been away from the team for 17 days due to a back injury and headaches that were caused by an injection he received for his back. Rizzo is now hitting .229/.341/.500 with an .841 OPS, 31 home runs, 72 RBI, 73 runs scored and six stolen bases on the season, and he could make a difference with his power for those fantasy managers still playing for a title with the season winding down.
