2 years agoThe Portland Trail Blazers are expected to offer star point guard Damian Lillard a two-year contract extension that is worth more than $100 million, according to sources of Bleacher Report. Lillard is currently signed on through the 2023-24 season with a player option for 2024-25. If he were to agree to a two-year extension, he'd be under team control through 2025-26. The team's recent acquisition of veteran forward Jerami Grant has helped improve the franchise's standing with Lillard. The Blazers now look to be in better shape to compete this coming year and the franchise will most certainly be using that fact as leverage to land the extension.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
