Noah Fant Thinks Offense Is Favorable For Tight Ends
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant thinks offensive coordinator Shane Waldron's system will be good for him. "Honestly, I like — now, granted, this is from just like a month coming in — but I like the way they use the tight ends," Fant said. "I like the way we get passing concepts down the field. The run game, obviously it's going to be all built off the run game, which is a huge part of the game. Obviously, the play action is going to be huge. So it's a very balanced offense, which I like. And it's very favorable to the tight end. So it's nice." Fant has plenty of ability, but he'll be behind receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in the pecking order and will likely share time with Will Dissly. Fant will be working with either quarterback Geno Smith or Drew Lock, who he worked with in Denver, but he'll remain more of a low-end TE1 target in fantasy.
