Willy Adames Homers In First Rehab Game
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames (ankle) went 1-for-2 with a home run in his first minor league rehab game on Sunday with Single-A Carolina as the designated hitter. Adames is scheduled to play for Triple-A Nashville on Monday. The Brewers will want to see the 26-year-old play in back-to-back games at shortstop on his rehab assignment before he's activated from the injured list. Adames has nine home runs and 24 RBI on the season for fantasy managers, but he's hitting only .208/.304/.462 in 35 games for Milwaukee. Barring any setbacks, Adames should be back in the Brewers lineup this week.
