Alvin Kamara had a down season in 2023, serving both a suspension and as part of an anemic offense. Outside of PPR formats, Kamara was nowhere near as efficient as he was in previous years, and the incessant dump-offs handed to him by Captain Checkdown helped his fantasy value immensely.
The script completely flipped in 2024. New offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has overhauled the Saints' passing and rushing attack, scoring 91 points in the first two games and making Kamara a focal point of the offense. Kamara scored a ridiculous 33 PPR fantasy points per game across the first two contests.
Kamara cooled off in his third game, scoring 15.70 PPR fantasy points. This could partially be because of the injuries he's now listed as having on the Saints' injury report. Is Alvin Kamara now hurt or healthy? Will he play in Week 4? Let's dive in.

Alvin Kamara Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Kamara was listed on the injury report as having hip and rib injuries and was held out of practice Wednesday. Kamara is a seasoned NFL veteran and has earned an unlimited number of Dudesdays, but as always, it's possible this injury could affect his status for the game.
If Kendre Miller could come back soon and stay healthy that'd be great.

It's also possible he could need rest after seeing massive volume through the first two games. Kamara has averaged 23.67 touches through his first two games, and that equates to a beating for running backs. It would be unsurprising if he's suffering from significant injuries.

Kamara's injuries don't give us reason to believe he will miss Week 4's contest, but Kamara managers in fantasy football will want to keep their eyes open for any further updates.
