BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 30% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Miami Marlins outfielder Bryan De La Cruz is an intriguing power option on the waiver wire. Over the first 22 games of the 2024 season, the 27-year-old has launched five long balls, tallied 14 RBI, and posted a .275/.287/.484 stat line. De La Cruz tallied 19 home runs last season and 13 the year prior.
The outfielder has been hitting the ball harder than ever before, which has resulted in his power surge. De La Cruz is currently boasting a 15.2% barrel rate and .549 xSLG, which places him in the 91st percentile in both categories. He is also posting an above-average 43.9% hard-hit rate.

Even though the Miami offense has been disappointing to begin the season, De La Cruz consistently bats in top four spots usually behind Luis Arraez and Jazz Chisholm which have provided great opportunities to tally RBI.
While De La Cruz can provide a boost to your team's RBI and power output, he will bring a significant strikeout rate to your roster. He is currently riding a 27.7% K rate and 34.1% chase rate.
De La Cruz is a safe bet for power but prepare for the high strikeout totals.
