BALLER MOVE: Buy Bo Bichette
ANALYSIS: Things hit rock bottom for Bo Bichette in 2024 when the shortstop was dropped to the No. 6 spot in the Toronto Blue Jays’ batting order for the May 8 series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies. Entering the day, Bichette was just 24-for-127 (.189) with one home run, five doubles, 11 RBI, and three stolen bases across 33 games.
It’s a shock not only because the 26-year-old hitting machine led baseball in hits during 2021 and 2022, but also after he went 20-for-58 (.345) with three steals over 19 Grapefruit League outings during a sharp spring training.

Bichette has entrenched himself as a fantasy stalwart ever since his debut season in 2019, so there’s reason for optimism and to buy low on a player who has hit at least .290 with an .800 OPS in each of his first five seasons.
Perhaps an upcoming three-game series with the Minnesota Twins this weekend will spark a revival for Bichette. In 13 games against the Twins since 2022, Bichette is hitting .328 (19-for-58) with four home runs, 12 RBI, and nine runs scored.
